THE BENEFITS AND THREATS OF MODERN TECHNICIZATION AND SCIENCE
Science and technology predicted that the world in about 2020 will become a global society of mankind, with diverse cultures, ethnicity, and history living together. There will emerge the greatness of man. There will be equality: the weak, the sick and the poor will have more rights and dignity. Obviously, science and technology have extended and expanded our powers. However, their predictions seem to be the contrary. The promises of wellbeing and easy life have turned to threats to human life and dignity as science and technology have created technologized and anesthetic humans in an automated society. Mankind is being pushed to extinction. This work identifies techno-scientific prowess. At the same time, it provides bioethical caveat to science and technology so that they do not endanger the existence of human species and its descents on earth.
