ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE AND HUMAN DIGNITY ETHICAL IMPLICATIONS

Abstract

As artificial intelligence (AI) permeates various aspects of human life, its impact on human dignity and ethical implications become increasingly pertinent. This research focuses onthe complex interplay between Artificial intelligence and human dignity, vis - a - vis the ethical considerations inherent in this relationship. Beginning with an examination of the concept of human dignity in philosophical and ethical frameworks, the presentation elucidates how Artificial Intelligence intersects with fundamental human values and rights. It scrutinizes Artificial Intelligence applications such as automated decision-making systems, facial recognition technologies, and autonomous vehicles, assessing their potential to enhance or undermine human dignity. Furthermore, the paper elucidates the multifaceted ethical dilemmas arising from artificial intelligence deployment, including issues of privacy infringement, algorithmic bias, and socioeconomic disparities. It addresses the need for robust regulatory frameworks and ethical guidelines to mitigate these challenges and uphold human dignity in Artificial Intelligence development and deployment. Drawing upon interdisciplinary perspectives from philosophy, ethics, law, and technology, this paper offers insights into fostering responsible technological gadgets innovation that respects and preserves human dignity. By engaging with stakeholders across sectors, it advocates for a human-centric approach to artificial Intelligence design and implementation, aligning technological progress with ethical imperatives. Ultimately, this paper presentation serves as a call to action for policymakers, technologists, and man to prioritize the ethical dimensions of artificial intelligence safeguarding human dignity in the era of technological advancement.
