Inculturation is one of the most commonly discussed issues in various theological academic conferences in Nigeria and other West African countries since the last few years. This word inculturation is to be understood in this paper basically in the context of ‘culture’ viewed as being intimately connected with the human nature. This article advances some reasons why inculturation has become imperative especially in Nigeria and further offer some principles that will make for ‘proper inculturation’.
