BODIJA JOURNAL | A Philosophico-Theologal Journal

The intellectual formation is one among the four dimensions of formation. Though it may not be the most important aspect of priestly training, only the best in the intellectual formation of future priests will meet with the demands and expectations of the Church and the world in our time. This article emphasizes the relevance of Philosophy to the intellectual formation of seminarians, succinctly emphasizing that courses both in the traditional African thought and the contemporary African philosophy should be incorporated in the programme of philosophical training in African seminaries.
