In order to promote political stability that could stimulate development of any developing nation in the world, this article underscores the indispensable roles played by values of democracy. It highlights and explores liberty, freedom, and equality which are not new in the political parlance as values that fully represent the nature of democracy. It shows further that the hope to generate enthusiasm towards democracy more often than not can be achieved through these values rather than any other form of government.
