The topic "Beyond the Pulpit: Christian Participation in Nigerian Politics" explores the intersection of faith and politics in Nigeria, highlighting the minimal participation of Christians in Nigerian politics. This is largely due to supposed misconceptions about biblical injunctions, which have eroded their civic responsibilities. Key issues contributing to Christian apathy include low involvement, moral and doctrinal failure of clergymen, political corruption, god-fatherism, and security operatives' failures. Despite these challenges, Christians have duties to God, the State, and their neighbors, including promoting social justice and social welfare policies. Research findings emphasize the importance of Christian participation in politics for democratic governance. However, misconceptions about biblical teachings and moral issues often hinder their involvement. To address this recommendation include increased political involvement, addressing moral and doctrinal questions, and promoting social justice and social welfare policies.
