issn: 2955-151X The Journal for Translation Studies in Nigeria (JTSN) is the official annual journal of the Translation Studies Association of Nigeria. Its vision is to offer a high-level publication outlet to scholars from Nigeria and beyond who are researching into translation and interpreting to disseminate their work in order to advance the field of Translation and Interpreting Studies in Nigeria and to place Nigeria in the discourse on translation and interpreting globally.
JTSN’s language policy is guided by the multilingual nature of Nigeria. Thus, it welcomes articles written in Nigerian languages, English, French and Arabic. Any contributor in a language other than English would, however, be required to provide an extended summary in English.
Contributors should send their manuscripts to jtsn.secretary@gmail.com and copy the Editor and Secretary of the Editorial Board. Articles should be between 4000 and 6000 words while book reviews should not be more than 2000 words. Papers should follow the APA style sheet 6th edition or MLA style sheet 9th edition. Manuscripts submitted to JTSN are first assessed by the editorial team before they undergo a double-blind peer review by two reviewers. Book reviews do not undergo double-blind peer review but are reviewed by the editors. Papers should be submitted with the sum of N5000 (five thousand naira only) for the review process. Accepted papers would attract a publication fee of N20000 (twenty thousand naira only).
