Disabled people are among the most marginalised in society, in both developed and developing countries. Due to their condition, they are excluded from many profitable and important social ventures. They are largely stereotyped and most aspects of their lives continue to be neglected by most able-bodied people in all spheres. This study takes an ethical look at the continuing widespread stereotyping of disabled people in general and the neglect of their sexuality in particular. It essentially argues that disabled people are stereotyped, marginalised and mostly suffer from sexual starvation by not dating or marrying them, with most resorting to masturbation and other unethical sexual practices. The paper concludes by condemning the stereotyping of disabled people, claiming that they are sexually active and also need support in terms of their sexuality.
