The study carried out was an investigation on the influence of Micro-teaching on student performance in Teaching Practice exercise in Orumba South L.G.A. of Anambra State. Three research questions were formulated for the study. The population comprised all the final year NCE students of Federal college of education (Technical),Umunze who went for the 2020/2021 teaching practice exercise after the Micro-Teaching numbered out of the seven schools in the college. Four schools were sampled and fifty percent of the populations of each of the sampled schools totaling 327 student-teachers were used. Three structured questionnaires items were used to collect data from the respondents. Five points likert. Formula and findings responses were used for data analysis and findings from the respondents which indicates that the school of the Student-teachers where the micro-teaching Training takes place, as well as the influences the teaching Practice performance and outcome both positively and negatively. To remedy the negative side or the problems being indicated by the respondents. The students teachers should be provided with relevant and necessary materials such as recording tools by the school, the student-teacher performance should not be compared or individually favored. And that the student-teacher should try to overcome stage fright and shyness during micro-teaching excise so that the teaching practice exercise will be a success and for the outcome to be worthwhile venture for all the stake holders and of a huge help and best actual experience to their career pursuit as Professional teacher in Making.
