The bedrock of societal wellness is education, more so engineering technology education which tends to solving almost all her problems. This research work x-rays engineering attributes, course-structure, engineering technology education, engineers-in-society and the futuristic of engineering technology education through enlightening the mind of the people and cutting them off from shackles of ignorance. A lot of unethical behaviours are associated with our engineering technology education which gave rise to quacks and collapsing of building\structures. The scholar tries finding out also how well course-structured curriculum will foster habitable society through entrepreneurship. The study also indicated that more awareness should be created on the importance of impact of Engineering Technology Education in the Society. It is recommended that sanity be brought back in the family of engineering profession of craftman, technician, technologist and the engineer. These family of engineering should co-operate to remove the malady and embrace values enacted for the practices of engineering.
