This paper discussed matters concerning school-community partnership: a potent factor for management and improvement of Nigerian educational institutions for sustainable national development. Some certain key concepts of such terms as school-community, school-community partnership, management and improvement, Nigerian educational institutions and sustainable national development were discussed in the chapter. The Federal Republic of Nigeria policy statements on school-community partnerships were pointed out in the chapter. Further discussed in the chapter are the important benefits of school-community partnership for the management and improvement of Nigerian educational institutions for sustainable national development. Issues concerning school-community partnerships, a potent factor to effective management and improvement in the Nigerian educational institutions for sustainable national development were further discussed in the chapter. Challenges to effective school-community partnerships in Nigerian educational institutions and suggestions on ways of improving school-community partnerships in Nigerian educational institutions for sustainable national development were also discussed in the chapter which led to concluding the chapter.
