Nigerian educational sector suffers a budding neglect in practice. Many great educational theories abound in our educational sector but the same cannot be said for the practical aspect. Using the method of critical analysis, this paper attempted to proffer steps at bridging the gap between theories of education and practicum through effective philosophy of education. The researchers nevertheless recommend that Curriculum Planners and Developers and of course the introduction of entrepreneurial courses would help in solving the problem at hand.
