The Igbo had an enviable political system which stems up from their respect for human dignity. Every life matters and everyone is given the opportunity to belong. The African approach to life, which is holistic is exhibited. Minority is not left behind but allowed to live by its principles until he is convinced. It is said: Ife niile nasia , ka o si so onye anaghi ana. The Igboland is known for its egalitarian approach, which permeates all the five social institutions.
