The resurgence of Africa as a formidable global actor hinges on its strategic ability to reconnect with indigenous intellectual traditions, languages, and ethical values. This paper advocates for a comprehensive African renaissance, encompassing rediscovery, reinvention, and socio-cultural reorganization. It critically examines the legacy of colonial disruptions, current linguistic hierarchies, and the diminishing role of African philosophies in governance and education. The authors promote a decolonial and Afrocentric approach to sustainable development, advocating the revival of African epistemologies, technologies, and languages. Through historical analysis, contemporary case studies, and policy-oriented recommendations, the paper presents a forward-looking model for a renaissance rooted in African identity, unity, and innovation.
