Every facet of human society has witnessed technological impact. In fact, technology has shaped and continues to impact different aspects of human culture, thereby establishing a relationship between traditional celebrations and cutting-edge experiences marketed by digital innovations. Digital innovations have enabled a synthesis between culture and technology, in which culture leverages cutting-edge tools for visibility and expansion. “Ericha Afuo Oru” is a cultural festival that fosters human relations. Among other things, it encourages family and inter-communal ties and bonds, which make for peaceful coexistence. Unfortunately, urbanisation, poverty, and insecurity have eroded and continue to weaken the cultural practice, such that its socio-cultural values and significance are rapidly fading. This work attempts to explore Artificial Intelligence to enhance and propagate the cultural values that “Ericha Afuo Oru” embodies in human society. Through AI, techno-cultural development offers the global community the opportunity to participate in and experience traditional celebrations via virtual reality and data analysis. Such integration, no doubt, makes for transformation but not without challenges. This work will be done using Cultural Preservation Theory and therefore concludes that cultural heritages such as “Ericha Afuo Oru” should be preserved through proper measures for present benefits and for posterity.
