EDUCATION IS NOT A SCAM: EXPLORING OVERSEAS OPPORTUNITIES AND INVESTING BACK HOME

Abstract

Education has long been regarded as the cornerstone of personal and societal development. Education has the transformative power to drive personal and societal growthanddevelopment. Being educated is having a broad perception and the ability to apply different knowledge, skills, and values in life. It would be erroneous to hastily consider a person as educated for merely attending school or acquiring certificates; it is more than that. Thus, the impact of education is for a safer, healthier, more prosperous, and environmentally sound world. These impacts are enormous and can't be comprehended at a glance. There are erroneous discussions that education is a scam in Nigeria, considering the happenings across all spheres of human endeavours in Nigeria. Hence, in this paper,we are going to explore the impacts of education on human development, also efforts will be made towards changing the orientation and narration that education is a scam, more so, discuss its relevance to National development.
