This study examines the roles of theological education on the performance of pastors in the Assemblies of God Church in Nsukka District. pastors are expected to combine spiritual responsibilities with sound administration, counselling, teaching, and evangelism. However, many pastors encounter challenges in biblical interpretation, church leadership, conflict management, and doctrinal balance because of inadequate theological training. A phenomenological research methodology was adopted to explore the lived experiences and perceptions of pastors concerning the influence of theological education on their ministerial performance. Both primary and secondary sources of data were utilized supplemented by interviews. The findings show that theological education enhanced pastoral effectiveness and contributed to church's growth within the Assembles of God's Church in Nsukka District.
