This paper’s objective is to analyse the ethical and legal issues of AI in medicine. The problem that warrants this study is to pin-point the issues inherent in having robots and machines trumping humans in healthcare. The study’s significance is pragmatic: a clarion call on all human healthcare providers to carry out their functions with a sense of duty; cognizant of the fact that human life is incomparable and immeasurable. This study adopts the analytic method of philosophical research. Finally, this study submits that, unlike the AI healthcare promises, human healthcare providers are psychically connected to the broader social scheme within which they render their services. AI is just a tool. Actually, it should not be all about showing-off technology; the psychical and emotional resonance are of very much importance. The natural capacity of humans to collaborate and exchange their creative minds, even in healthcare provisions, are among the things AI cannot replicate. So, AI are actually needed in healthcare. However, their role should be on the assisting and advisory levels; not the proper decision-makers. Human life is sacred; hence, cannot be traded or bartered with any kind of technology whatsoever. Many patients would not agree to have robotic cardiologists or surgeons operate on them
