The interaction between spirituality and human communication cannot be overemphasised. Human communication has a spiritual dimension and is deeply rooted in God's creative act, who first communicated himself in the creation narrative and the person of Jesus Christ, the Word-made flesh. The strong connection between human language and the spiritual nature of communication comes from the human person being a composite of body, soul and spirit. So, human communication fundamentally goes beyond mere physical concepts. Every human expression is a form of communication with a spiritual dimension. It can be verbal or non-verbal: speech, writing, gestures, arts, music and facial expressions. Human language forms the Antrum and is an excellent medium for human communication. It plays a vital role in manifesting the spiritual dimension of human communication and is always a realisation of the innermost conceptual thinking that emanates from within the person. No matter the method humans use to communicate with one another, an inner reality originates from the deepest part of the person. However, because the spiritual dimension of human communication has been relegated to the background, this paper tries to foster a spiritually enriched human communication that will always help humans maintain a sound relationship with God. The paper, therefore, calls for recognising the spiritual dimension of human communication and how it can help shape how realities are communicated for the good of human persons and society.
