PROFESSOR EUGENE OKOYE NWADIALOR AND THE QUEST FOR EXCELLENCE IN MANAGEMENT AND ADMINISTRATION
The Board of Trustees of Tansian University Umunya, Anambra State, in the month of May, 2019, hired the services of Professor Eugene Okoye Nwadialor, as the 5th Vice Chancellor of the university. The action of the Board of Trustees is premised on its belief in the principle that quality education delivery is incumbent on quality administrator. After all, the National Policy on Education in Nigeria is a statement of intentions, expectations, goals, prescriptions, standards and requirements for education delivery in Nigeria.1 It is this that the Board considered in their quest for requirement for standard and quality education delivery; including their desire for social development. It is worthy to note that the Board also recognizes that education plays a key role as it is an investment for economic, social and political development.
