This paper examines the influence of religious beliefs on economic decision-making in Nigeria. Additionally, it examines the diverse religious influences present in Nigeria, including Christianity, Islam, and indigenous African religious beliefs. The research spotlights the influence of religious beliefs on economic decision-making across different faiths as well as other economic parameters that may be impacted by religious views, including savings and investment levels, entrepreneurship rates, and business strategies. Ultimately, this paper offers a vital understanding of the influence of religious beliefs on economic decision-making in Nigeria and highlights novel findings to help policymakers make informed and balanced economic policies in Nigeria.
