The rapid development in artificial intelligence (AI) is reshaping the global socio-political and economic landscape, thus challenging the identity and role of the European human ism. This paper critically examines the implications of AI on European identity, values, and human agency in an increasingly interconnected and automated world. Exploring the Impacts of Artificial intelligence on labor markets, ethical frameworks, democracy, and cultural heritage, the study asks, whether European humanism, with its deep-rooted traditions in enlightenment thought and individual autonomy, can sustain itself in an AI-driven future. The analysis also considers the intersection of AI with global governance structures and power dynamics, highlighting the risks of technological colonization and economic displacement. Drawling from scholarly perspectives on philosophy, political science, and technology studies, the paper engages with the fundamental question: Can European man retain agency and significance in a world where AI increasingly dictates the terms of existence?
